Humanism in Business (HIB) is a six-module online executive programme for experienced managers preparing for broader leadership responsibility. It strengthens your ability to create sustainable financial value while making decisions grounded in rationality, ethics, fulfilment and collective action.

The programme offers a structured learning experience designed to fit alongside a demanding professional role. Participants take part in six live online sessions, supported by self-paced preparation, practical assignments and guided reflection.

Choose the Format That Fits Your Organisation

The executive programme is offered twice a year as an open-enrolment online experience, with Spring and Autumn cohorts.

It is also available as a tailored in-company programme, delivered either online or in person at your organisation’s premises.

Action-based Learning in Small Group

Each cohort is limited to 16 participants, creating space for meaningful dialogue, individual attention and high-quality peer exchange.

Before each session, participants complete a short self-assessment and preparatory exercise. These insights are progressively translated into a personalised HIB Action Plan, connecting the programme’s ideas directly to your leadership practice and business context.

Self-assessments and individual HIB Action Plans are accessible only to the participant and the instructor. This confidential setting allows participants to examine complex professional questions openly and honestly.

Our Practitioner Fellows are a trusted circle of experienced leaders who have deliberately chosen practice-based, peer-to-peer learning over conventional academic teaching. They continue to hold operational responsibilities and bring current, first-hand experience into every conversation.

What connects our Practitioner Fellows is a shared interest in the humanist intellectual tradition and a conviction, shaped by practice, that responsible leadership requires sound judgement, ethical awareness and decisive action. This common ground inspired the creation of the Humanism in Business programme.

Their role is not to lecture, but to contribute, question and convene dialogue between equals. Each conversation, each module, is intended to enrich everyone involved: participants and Fellows alike. Over time, these exchanges create more than a learning experience. They build a growing circle of professional peers grounded in mutual recognition, shared development and practical support.
